Queen Victoria Street

Queen Victoria Street is North Fremantle’s main parade, the site of many fantastic cafes and other live music venues. Check out Piggy Food Company, a great little alfresco wine bar with a cool popup vibe and organic locally sourced food. Mojo’s Bar is another North Fremantle staple, home to incredible local and international live music acts.

The best of local Art

With a huge population of artists and art-lovers, Fremantle is home to some of the best arts centers and galleries in the country. Some of the more notable galleries are the Japingka Aboriginal Arts Centre - home to artwork from some of the foremost painters in remote WA communities - and the Fremantle Arts Centre - a unique venue offering exhibitions and other immersive art experiences.

Moores Building

Located in Fremantle’s historic west end, Moores Building houses contemporary art galleries and a book shop in a funky space. It’s close to the wharf where you can go and pick up some fresh crayfish straight from the boats.
