One of my personal favorites is Daan Park. This is a public park that is found just near the middle of the district and not too far from the property. You’ll find that a lot of locals use it as their green activity area, participating in countless outdoor activities. You can participate in these activities as well. Food Scene
Another must-have is the shaved mango ice spot down the street. Ice Monster is the perfect spot to cool off in the air conditioning with some of the tastiest shaved snows you’ll ever have. My personal favorites are the almond sesame and mango shaved snow, but there are many flavors to choose from. The plates come with a generous scoop of ice cream as well, adding a creamy treat to your frozen deliciousness. I’ve always enjoyed how soft and sweet the mangoes are as well. Another good flavor there is the red bean snow. So if you find yourself craving something sweet and cold while you’re staying here, this is the place to go!

Wistaria Tea House
1號 Lane 16, Section 3, Xinsheng S Rdthe Wistaia Tea House is not far from NTU. This is a peaceful historically highlighted teahouse that serves tea in the traditional Gongfu style. If you’re looking for the ultimate tea experience, you’ll find it here.
One of the more popular restaurants in the area is the Din Tai Fung restaurant. This eatery is just north of NTNU and is well-worth the trek. They’ve got some of the best steamed dumplings around and while you’ll find these restaurants spread out across the globe due to their popularity, personally speaking, I think this one is the best. Super tasty food that I’m sure anyone would enjoy.

Din Tai Fung Xinyi Restaurant
194號 Section 2, Xinyi RdOne of the more popular restaurants in the area is the Din Tai Fung restaurant. This eatery is just north of NTNU and is well-worth the trek. They’ve got some of the best steamed dumplings around and while you’ll find these restaurants spread out across the globe due to their popularity, personally speaking, I think this one is the best. Getting Around
Dongmen MRT station is likely going to be the best way to get around the area. You’ll find this station on the Xinzhuang Line and this is just under Xinyi Rd, Sec. 2, right between Yongkang St. and Jinshan S. Rd. in Zhongzheng. This is the interchange station for the Red Line and the Zinzhuang Line, allowing you to use it to go all over the area. The station has a total of four levels, as well as an underground station containing island platforms for either the Xinzhuang and Xinyi Lines. You’ll find that the platforms are neatly stacked, providing you with the cross-platform interchange you’ll need when traveling between both of the lines.
