Moto is the perfect hideaway - a converted bike shop into an amazing restaurant. The short rib with cauliflower is my hands down favorite. With live music almost every night, it's my favorite place to visit to unwind. Cash only, serving beer and wine.

One of my favorites for sure. American cuisine, but done in the best way. The specials rotate and almost always include some type of delicious fresh fish (not something to pass up on). My favorites on the menu (if you're forcing me to pick) would be the chicken - always cooked to perfection and served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes, or the tortellini. Start with a meat and cheese board or the french onion soup. The burger is also fantastic. There is an outdoor patio in the back for the warmer months and into the fall that's beautiful and staff is always wonderful.

Start with a meat and cheese board or the french onion soup. The burger is also fantastic. There is an outdoor patio in the back for the warmer months and into the fall that's beautiful and staff is always wonderful.
It's pizza, and it's great. A close rival to Roberta's any day.

Because if you don't visit Glasserie in Greenpoint you're seriously missing out. Great for dinner, however we normally make it over for brunch/lunch. An amazing incredible display of food - grab the mezze feast - bottomless sides with in house made flatbread (to die for); we're talking hummus, tabouli, pickled anything, melon and ricotta, labneh, the list goes on. And you'll order something else your first time because you haven't yet learned (after 3 years neither have we) that it's more than enough food for two - the lamb flatbread takes the cake for delicious sandwiches. It's also very good a couple hours later so don't be shy to take everything that's not in your belly home.

Brunch. That's all I have to say. The most ridiculous pancakes you'e ever eaten. There's always a line so be prepared to grab a drink at the bar or at one of the neighboring restaurants that prays for Le Barrio's overflow.

Conveniently located steps from the apartment, the Flat used to be a live music venue that sported every walk of life... And then they lost their liquor license. Now a converted coffee shop, all of the hipsters in south Williamsburg rejoiced.

Great for drinks... Also awesome for food. The oysters is their signature, and they are delicious. Normally playing some old movie on the projector, it's beautifully decorated and sports a great crowd.

Only visit Diviera for drinks, and they rotate performers so there is often really great live music. Huge outdoor venue so you can sit under the christmas lights and the stars. But like I said ONLY DRINKS. If you're looking for food, stroll down the street. They had an opportunity to make something really amazing with the cuisine and it's fallen short unfortunately.

But like I said ONLY DRINKS. If you're looking for food, stroll down the street. They had an opportunity to make something really amazing with the cuisine and it's fallen short unfortunately.
Basically the south side of Williamsburg's version of the Abbey. Dirty and fun, $5 shot of whiskey and a PBR any night of the week. Deer hunter and air hockey table in back.

Great for groups and during the daytime - the big outdoor patio has been many a weekend destination for old friends to catch up. Cheap drinks and they keep them coming.

Upstairs there is a stage behind the bar behind some "soundproof" walls and there's also another venue downstairs. Always a live act, you'll just have to check the website for details.

I love Mccarran park because there's always space to crash on the ground or a bench and watch the day go by. Wether its bouncing babies, some crazy cross breed of dog someone's claiming is a "rescue" or a footie match, there's always something to do. There's a track if you're a running sort of person, and an outdoor gym.
