Camp under Blue Ridge Mtn sky river A Frame Cabin

Be lulled to sleep by the peaceful river under the stars of a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain view. We love the island feeling it has with a little log waterfall and a lot of natural sand between our toes. We can provide new queen air mattress for A frame, up to 4 hammocks, or feel free to bring your own, a tent, a small camper, etc. The road in is relatively flat, but is natural ground. A primitive outhouse is on site as well as a gas grill and firewood. Dogs are welcome if picked up after.

Enjoy this 750 sq ft peaceful mountain getaway! It is about 3 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway which is known for its scenery and mountain overlooks. It’s about 6 miles from Stone Mountain Park with lots of outdoor activities like hiking, swimming holes and waterfall watching. If that’s not your thing head over to Elkin, NC and do some wine tours/tasting. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, no need to leave the cabin. There are on-site games and VHS movies. Year round hot tub!

Midway on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Built in 2013, 4 beds in this 3 BR + queen sleeper sofa, 2 bath, Single Story "non-smoking" cottage. Central heat and air conditioning, gas fireplace, full laundry facilities, high speed Fiber Optic Wi-Fi, 2 TV's, fully equipped kitchen including Keurig Coffee Maker, Air Fryer, pots/pans/dishes. A wrap around porch to rock away the time and fire-pit for s'mores, and a rear covered porch with gas grill. Open parking for 3-4 vehicles and situated on a publicly maintained asphalt road.

The SheShed

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The SheShed has a million dollar view and is located 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is at a 3000 ft elevation with vast views of the mountains and valleys. A hiker’s dream location with several hiking trails in the surrounding area. When not hiking you can visit the many vineyards or take a trip to the nearby towns to enjoy local shops, music and dining. This cabin is designed for a couple to get away and get back to nature.

A quiet haven in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, Sadie's Place borders the Blue Ridge Parkway, just steps from the Mountain-to-Sea Trail, kayaking and fishing. Nearby you can find great wineries, shops and restaurants in West Jefferson. Our guests love the cozy atmosphere and well-equipped kitchen. We have great outdoor space with a fire pit, covered porch, hammock and beautiful stream. Sunset views! Great for a group, family or couple. Many enjoy family celebrations here.

River Front retreat

Our home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath post & beam style cabin. It sits on 4 acres with mountain access/views, and river views with easy access. We are directly on the New River with 330 feet of river frontage at the end of a private road with plenty of distance to the closest neighbor. The living room has a beautiful stacked stone fireplace with a pullout couch and 2 sets of French Doors opening onto the front porch and the spacious side covered porch.

Turtle Ridge

Take a break and slow down at Turtle Ridge. This peaceful getaway is quiet and has beautiful mountain views. You will feel miles away from everything, but are only 6 miles from the heart of Sparta. Sparta’s quaint downtown offers multiple live music venues, restaurants and shopping, especially the Tik-Tok famous Sparta Candle Company. Located just off the Blue Ride Parkway you are just a short drive from Mt. Airy, West Jefferson and Boone.
