Jackson River Estate Main House Pool, Riverfront, sleeps 15

Jackson River Estate features 3 dwellings on 900 ft of River frontage in the beautiful Virginia mountains. This listing is for the main house which is over 5000 sq feet with 6 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and it will sleep 15 guests comfortably. It features a theater room with a 75 inch TV, a card room equipped with poker table and wet bar, a billiards room with full size pool table. The bottom floor has a cozy den with gas fireplace, an arcarde game featuring 300 games, a piano, and a second kitchen with bar seating. The bottom floor also gives you direct access to the outdoor bar, lounge, and an amazing pool with a water slide that overlooks the river. There are also 2 outdoor balconies on the middle floor giving you even more covered outdoor entertaining space. The pool will be open from May through September. There is a detached 2 car garage with a 1 Bedroom apartment on the property. When it is rented out the guests will have a parking spot on the shared driveway space. The guests at the apartment will have access to the porch swing in front of the apartment that overlooks the river. If you are interested in adding the garage apartment to your reservation inquire with us for details and availability. If you do venture outside you will not be disappointed. The property just off of the Jackson River Scenic trail which is known for bike riding and leisure walks. During the summer adults and kids alike will be seen kayaking or floating by in their river tubes. It is well known for the floating experiences offered here. Floats range anywhere from 45 minutes, 2 hours, or an all day 8 hour float down the Jackson River. T.A.C. has something to offer most anyone regardless of the season. For the outdoor enthusiast you can hike, hunt, fish, float, or kayak. Two 2-person kayaks & 4 OSFM life jackets provided.

The water is usually deep enough to swim in front of the house, and you can float for miles! You can fish right from the yard and catch trout, small-mouth bass, rock bass, and lots more!

Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.
