We are about 15 minutes away from downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City. Yuba River, mountain biking, and hiking are about 20 minutes away from the house. Skiing is about 50 miles away.

Modern 1BD/1BTH open concept home in pine trees on Banner Mountain. Walking distance to local trails, 10 minutes to downtown Nevada City/Grass Valley. Sleeps 4 comfortably (queen sofa bed in living room) queen air mattress if six occupants are desired. Any more guests over 4 there is a charge of $10/person per night. Kitchen has everything to cook with + outdoor BBQ. Games and puzzles. The garage has a ping pong, washer/dryer. Generator during power outage.

New construction in 2018.The house is 3100 ft.² with a 1200 ft.² detached garage.We are centrally located about 70 minutes away from Lake Tahoe and two hours from the ocean. We are about 3 miles off I 80 so we have easy access. Our elevation here is 2380 so we are below the snow line. All the lots in this subdivision are around 5 acres and we are at the end of the road so we have great privacy and a spectacular view from about anywhere in the house and the pool.

Located steps away from historic downtown Nevada City this beautifully renovated cabin is perfect for your stay in our charming town. With just less than a 10 min drive to the beautiful crystal blue swimming pools of the Yuba River this will truly be your gateway to relax and unwind or for a fun adventure in the Sierra.

Easy access from Highway 49 and conveniently located within 10 minutes of the historic towns of Grass Valley and Nevada City, and the Nevada County Fairgrounds, 5 minutes from Empire Mine State Park, 25 minutes from the Yuba River, and 45 minutes to the Pacific Crest Trail and High Sierra ski resorts. Perfect for a family or couple, you will be close to live entertainment, dining and recreation.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene home. Recently updated 1200 sq ft 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home nestled among large pines, cedars and oaks. Located in a gated neighborhood between two quaint gold rush towns with shopping, wine tasting, hiking trails and sight seeing. Ski areas easily accessible for day trips. Rest or dine on the deck with a glass of local wine and watch the friendly deer wander past sometimes stopping to say hello.

Beautiful house close to town and in the trees

Cancellations due to fire or Smokey air -allowed. Fragrance free cleaning products Wood floors, washer/dryer stocked kitchen Central heat. Air conditioning. High end mattresses. The house is off of a main road close to downtown Nevada City but in the tallest trees. There is some car noise during rush hour but none of that can be heard from inside of this very well insulated house. No loud parties. We do host dogs and occasionally cats.

The Crooked Inn

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road. From an extensively stocked kitchen, oversized towels down to night lights so that you can find your way to that midnight snack without stubbing a toe.
