If you're looking for marble countertops, this may not be your place. But if you’re seeking quiet, character, and a taste of how things used to be, with a modern twist, welcome to our 1800s-era cabin. Renovated in 2022, the cabin is comfy but you can expect creaky floors, original woodwork, and a few quirks that come with age. The cabin is authentic, and thoughtfully kept. You will have TV, wifi, central heat, air conditioning but expect to hear the water pump run and there is no dishwasher.

Our 2nd AirBnB cabin on the property has given us the experience to make this one great too! Rural, clean, and peaceful! Our cabin has two bedrooms; one with a queen bed, and the upstairs one with a queen and two twins. It has a full kitchen, full bathroom, fire pit and outdoor grills. Perfect for two couples, friends, or small families. The Ark Encounter and Kentucky Horse Park are 20min away. The Creation Museum is 45min away. A great place to relax between visits to these attractions!

Woods and trails await you at our private country cottage! Imagine sitting by a bonfire and enjoying the country, shooting some hoops at the basketball goal or trying your hand at fishing in our stocked pond ! We have plenty of walking trails, or for the horse lovers we have three fenced pastures. All of this but only 5.5 miles from interstate 75 where you can do other activities such as the KENTUCKY HORSE PARK or THE ARK ENCOUNTER and so much more. Y’all hurry! So much to see in Kentucky

Red Fox Ridge Cabin Retreat - *No Cleaning Fee*

Unwind at this secluded retreat nestled quietly at the end of a wooded country road, along a rolling creek. The cabin was originally two cabins erected in the 1850s. In the 1970s, artist Jim Simon dismantled the log cabins and re-erected them on the Simon Family Farm. Red Fox Ridge was named for the red fox often spotted running the ridge overlooking the river. Three Pines Historic Log Cabin

Three Pines is a rustic log cabin located on 17 acres with a forest view. Originally constructed in the 1790s by a Revolutionary War veteran, it was relocated to the present location in 2011, where it was reimagined with added modern conveniences. The cabin is great for history buffs and those looking for some peace and quiet in a unique setting. The cabin can be rented with our other listing, The Lodge at Three Pines, which provides an additional bedroom, bathroom, and hang out space.

This location is in the country but close to the Ark, Kincaid lake and an easy drive to Lexington, KY and Cincinnati. Just across the hill, you’ll find another rustic Airbnb, this spot is ideal for friends or families who want to stay close but enjoy their own space. We rotate our small cattle for grazing and guest are welcome to visit the cattle when available
