Heather Cottage is a short 2-minute walk from Ashbourne. An ideal location to enjoy the plentiful cafes, pubs and shops without using your car. We are central for exploring the attractions of the Tissington trail, Chatsworth House, Alton Towers and many Peak District walks. Heather cottage is perfect for couples and is also pet and child friendly. It has a lovely decking area to relax outside or get cosy inside with a film and a take away! We have Netflix and board games to entertain.

Bertie's Shepherds Hut

Our cosy hut is the perfect way to enjoy a stay in the Peak district national park, set in the heart of the village of Alstonefield its surrounded by stunning walks and must visit locations! The hut is set in a private area of our campsite, with a full size double bed, kitchen, seating and dining area with outside seating, balcony and firepit. The little hut is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break including bedding and firewood so all you need to do is arrive!!

Lots of great tourist attractions such as scenic Dovedale are within a short car journey. The property is old and retains many original features adding to its character. The stairs and layout do not suit children under 10 or people with mobility issues. The flat is very spacious and easily sleeps 4 with a separate kitchen diner, lounge and compact bathroom.
