Lillian’s blackberry cabin in Goodhope

Lillian’s Blackberry Cabin is a restored retreat with a story in every detail. Started by my free-spirited, hippie mom in the early 1980s, it sat unfinished for decades. In 2020, we brought it back to life with a renovation, honoring its roots while adding comfort. Today, it’s a peaceful escape to slow down, walk quiet dirt roads, and take in sunset views from the deck. Featured in 417 Magazine, it’s a one-of-a-kind place to unplug and reconnect. About 15 miles SW of Ava on Hwy 76 in Goodhope.

R&R Cottage

A quant 1930s cottage in a peaceful setting located within walking distance of the Ava Square. This 2 queen bed (plus queen sleeper sofa), one bath cottage is the perfect spot for a little R&R. Welcome to the Grainery! This is a uniquely built grain bin for four, tucked in the edge of the forest in the Ozark Hills. Bring along your smores and enjoy roasting them over a beautiful wood fire and count the stars as you relax in a soothing spa. Need more space, bring an RV with full hook up available for an extra $50 a night. We hope you have a peaceful and enjoyable stay in God’s creation. Come enjoy a peaceful stay in our unique country home, located on our goat cheese dairy in the Missouri Ozarks. Visit with the goats, soak in the hot tub, walk down by the creek, sip your coffee on the gazebo by the pond or the deck, stream a movie on WIFI, get some work done in a calm environment, do it all, or just get a good night's sleep! Our 45 acre farm is only 3 miles from Fordland and 25 miles from Springfield, MO. There are many hiking trails, creeks, rivers and lakes in the area.

The house has been recently repainted, a soaking tub added, and the gas fireplace upgraded. The kitchen is fully furnished and a propane grill provided. Park your vehicle in the shop beside the house. Live the simple life!

Forest Garden Yurts

Glamping at its finest! Forest Garden Yurts are wooden yurts designed and built by Bill Coperthwaite in the 1970s for Tom Hess and Lory Brown as home and pottery studio. Tucked away in 4 acres of Ozark forest, the yurts are simple in nature yet abound with artistic details. The home yurt has a kitchen, bedroom, and a nook living room. The bathroom yurt is separate but has a covered walk. Unconventional and unique, with hobbit hole doors and low clearances in places.

Unique hand-hewn cabin with architectural salvage

We love rustic design and repurposing old things, especially reclaimed wood and rusty tin which you will find throughout this adorable cabin. Located on our 72-acre farm, this unique cabin was built with hand-hewn oak logs and creek stones off the property. While we did not build the original structure, we’ve spent a great deal of time renovating and painstakingly finishing each detail. We cannot wait to share it with you, and we hope you love it as much as we do!
