A quirky property with two double bedrooms, open plan living/dining with a wood burning stove and fully equipped kitchen. The equine theme is evident in the design. There's a private south facing garden with access to all of our site with panoramic views over Co Down. Off road parking. Horses and dogs welcome.

The Barn

The Barn is a charming 2 storey restored stone barn set in 1.5 acres of private garden with mature trees on an elevated site in the foothills of the Mournes. The barn is 4 miles from Dromara, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the source of the River Lagan and 4 miles from Ballynahinch. Take time to detach from the world and enjoy a break nestled in a cosy self-catering cottage, perfect for hikers, cyclists, film crew or wedding guests at local venues like Montalto Estate or Larchfield.

Croob View Black Hut

Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

The Gardener's Cottage

A charming little stone cottage set in 20 acres of stunning gardens and woodland in County Down. Explore the garden setting of this cosy stone cottage amid the gentle bustle of a working smallholding with geese, chickens, sheep, goats and even the occasional peacock. Many historic and prehistoric sites nearby including filming locations of the Game of Thrones. Close to beaches and hill walking, National Trust properties and, though a rural location, close enough to Belfast to access the city.

Stone Wall Cottage

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Converted stone barn adjacent to farmhouse in lovely countryside close to Strangford Lough, yet only 30 minutes drive from Belfast. Self-catering, open plan accommodation. On the ground floor, a sitting/dining area and kitchen. On the upper floor a sleeping area with double bed , and shower room. There is also a sofa bed on the ground floor. Our 13 acre smallholding is a wildlife friendly oasis and guests are welcome to relax in the large garden or walk around the woodland and meadows.

Explore the area on foot or bike, squat through the weekend at T3 gym onsite or bring your rod for a spot of fishing on the River Lagan. If you're feeling more adventurous there are countless top NI attractions within a 30 min drive.

The Barn at Pink Cottage is close to Downpatrick, Strangford Lough and right at the centre of Game of Thrones filming locations in County Down. You’ll love my place because of it's quirkiness, cosiness, stained glass windows and medieval feel. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, honeymooners, walkers and anyone wishing to just get away from it all and kick back in a beautiful tranquil setting.
