Two well behaved dogs allowed by prior arrangement (£10/dog). Village pub and award winning pub in adjacent village of Hawkedon. Beautiful local walks and bike rides. Close to Clare, Long Melford, Bury St. Edmunds, Lavenham and Sudbury. 20 mins to Newmarket, easy access to Cambridge and 2 hrs from central London.

The Globe’s Flat

The Globe is a CAMRA Award winning, wet sales only, real ale & live music pub in the the medieval wool town of Clare. The flat is directly above & has it's own front door to stairs leading to kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster, bathroom with power shower, sitting room & 2 connected bedrooms. Dogs are welcome, but must be pre-booked. Expect noise from the pub whilst open! We shut by 11pm every day except Sunday when we have live music from 2pm - 5pm, then shut at 7pm.

A cosy 1-bed loft apartment in the countryside, part of our family home—ideal for a peaceful getaway. Includes en-suite, full kitchen, living/dining area, log burner, and private balcony with woodland views. Take advantage of direct access to our quiet lakeside and the winding woodland trails that surround the property. Accessed via private steep stairs (not suitable for those with mobility issues). As a part of our family home please remember that you may occasionally hear us.

Peaceful garden Studio Room in beautiful Suffolk village of Kirtling only an eight minute drive to the popular town of Newmarket and 30 minutes to Cambridge. The room is equipped with a super king bed (can be made into two single beds) kitchenette, shower room, TV, wifi and all the basics to ensure a comfortable stay. Private parking space and private entrance to Studio Room. Great for a country escape, lovely countryside walks and nearby to good pubs and restaurants.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft offers recently built, luxury accommodation right in the heart of Clare. Perfect for couples, there is so much to see and do here - with restaurants, pubs and traditional tea-rooms on the doorstep. Beautiful countryside awaits those who enjoy walking - the Stour Valley runs through Clare Country Park - or why not visit historic Bury St Edmunds, with its theatres, restaurants and world-famous Greene King brewery. NB we no longer accept bookings with dogs.

Wrenwood Cottage - quiet, riverside retreat

Wrenwood is a well presented, riverside cottage in the quaint historic town of Clare. At over 250 years old and recently renovated, it is the perfect place for a relaxing break. Situated along a quiet footpath, next to the River Stour and a few minutes walk from the High Street, it is conveniently placed to explore the delights of the Suffolk and Essex countryside. With its inglenook fireplaces, exposed beams and cosy rooms, it exudes country charm.

2 Bed Cottage beside Clare Castle & Country Park

In the centre of mediaeval Clare, next to the Clare Country Park and river, Spring Cottage provides the perfect setting for you to explore the local area. The house has a sitting room, kitchen and a charming courtyard garden with small pond. Excellent cafes, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, unique shops and antiques are all within 100 yards. Upstairs are a double and single bedroom, and a bathroom with separate bath and power shower.

Blue Dog Quarters

Blue Dog Quarters is a bright and stylish first floor apartment with a sunny decked terrace. It is located above SmallTown coffee shop and bakery on the High Street in the centre of Clare, Suffolk's smallest town. Clare's pubs, cafés, excellent independent shops and country park complete with castle ruins are all within easy walking distance and the town makes an excellent base for exploring further afield in this pretty corner of Suffolk.

A delightful and newly refurbished self contained cart lodge situated In the beautiful village of Burrough Green. The space within the cart lodge comprises of an open plan kitchen and living area, dinning table for two people, double bed, shower room, basin and sink. Surrounded by lovely country walks and with popular cycle routes, the traditional village pub is also conveniently situated within a short distance from the cart lodge.
