Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Our family cottage is full of character and charm and has been in the family for over 90 years. Built in the 1820s, it has lots of original features; open fireplace, yet has the comforts of modern living ; wifi, central heating. Versatile and very comfortable trundle beds, which convert to either a single, twin or king size in bedrooms- sleeps 4. A peaceful, rural location with stunning sea view over the bay, a dog friendly pub 8 mins walk away and 30 mins walk down the hill to the beach.

Tucked away on the shores of the Menai Strait Paddleboard is a cosy, character-filled cottage made for switching off. Wake to peaceful waterside views, explore nearby beaches, launch a paddleboard straight from the cottage, head out hiking & unwind watching tidal ebb and flow. Though wonderfully secluded, it’s just 5 minutes from the A55 perfectly placed for exploring Anglesey and beyond. Finish the day with a soak in the hot tub (optional extra) under the stars - your perfect coastal escape

There will be no shortage of help in the kitchen where the imposing arched window frames the stunning view of Amlwch Port and the ever changing sea beyond. The renowned Anglesey Coastal Path is on the doorstep and for anglers it's just a short walk to fish from the harbour wall or arrange fishing or sightseeing boat trips. Situated between the two historic bridges providing access to Anglesey & the Snowdonia National Park. The owners live close by & offer a warm welcome to their newly refurbished cottage. North Wales has become the adventure centre of Europe, from sailing to surfing, climbing to caving. It does get busy but staying at Allt Lwyd you'd never ever guess

With private stepped access to the beach, our home comfortably sleeps 4 across 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, but can sleep up to 6 using the sofa bed in the second lounge. Enjoy sunsets from the decking relaxing on our sun loungers or find secluded spots on the cliff tops for even more privacy. The Annexe adjoins Ty Deryn Y Mor (also a holiday let), each has their own private garden, decking and path to the beach.

The cottage is a beautiful barn conversion set in 8 acres of hay fields, woods, streams and ponds and less than 10 minutes from the coast.Large, open plan living area with handmade, fully equipped kitchen area. 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suites. One bedroom on the ground floor, the second bedroom being accessed by its own staircase. ( not from the ladder in living area) Cloakroom, outside sitting/dining area and full use of all the grounds. Ample parking.
