Bells House

Built in the 1940's by local builders, Bells House features unique furnishings with preference to upcycling and using furniture from bygone eras. The house is decorated with local art, ceramics and paintings(made by the host), photography(taken by the hosts daughter) . Bells house has spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage with built-in wardrobes. The beds made with quality linen bedding for your comfort. This four bedroom fully appointed farm cottage is surprisingly spacious and comfortable, with two double rooms, one twin and one single. Relax on the eastern facing verandah, with bbq and fire pit. Just 42km west of Goondiwindi, perfect for a contract work team or a larger family group wanting to self-cater. There is also the option of visiting Toobeah family pub just 5km further west. Enjoy our stunning sunsets and the wonder of the Milky Way by night.

Melness Cottage

Melness cottage is a comfortable studio style accommodation on a 2500 acre farm 33km out of Goondiwindi. The cottage is separate to the main house and you will have private entry. It is only 300m from the highway to our entrance. There is a fire pit area to enjoy during your stay and the creek is a short walk from the cottage. For meals there is a microwave, Weber BBQ, bar fridge, kettle and toaster. A few basic breakfast supplies can be provided.

Thoughtfully renovated, this post war cottage retains historic features like cypress floors and beams, while offering a modern kitchen and bathrooms and a stylish open-plan living area. The brand new kitchen features marble-look countertops and has a full fridge, oven & stove, as well as kitchenware and appliances to make meal preparation easy. If you don’t feel like cooking, head outside to the BBQ and enjoy the covered outdoor area.

Rachel's Cottage.

Rachel's Cottage was built my my great grandfather around 1898. The family lived there until my great Aunty Rae died in 1986. We repurchased it in 2004 in a very derelict state. We have renovated the cottage, keeping the original style as much as possible. The kitchen and bathroom are accessible via a small covered verandah. We welcome a pet or two but there are strict conditions for this and approval must be sought first.

McLean Street Guest House

Enjoy the convenience of our secure, self-contained and spacious unit on a one acre block in the middle of town. A five-minute stroll will get you into town to find cafes and shops and then you can return to the peace and quiet of the bird filled backyard. The pool area can be used in summer and the deck is warm on winter mornings. We live in the adjacent house and are happy to help with whatever you need.
