The Floating Boathouse at Carrickreagh FP250

A unique stay on Lough Erne. This fully floating house boat is finished to an exceptional standard. The accommodation is open plan with a full size double bed, and a sofa bed that converts to a double bed. A travel cot can included upon request. There is a fully functioning kitchen complete with electric hob, oven & fridge. Outside there is a Weber charcoal BBQ for guests use (fuel not included). There is a full shower room. The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
