Hiker's Retreat Cabin

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

Keddie Wye House

Based at the foot of the world-famous Keddie Wye Trestle, this historic 1906 home offers custom woodwork and attention to detail throughout. Outside you will find extensive decks, private river access, and exquisite landscaping. The property borders the National Forest with exclusive trail access leading to your own private swimming holes. You will enjoy your own unique view of the world famous Keddie Wye. You will have access to our hot spring and swimming reservoir (the hot spring requires 4-wheel-drive in inclement weather.) The ranch is a great place for hiking, star gazing, relaxing at the water's edge or enjoying the country life. The perfect place to stay and unwind, or regroup for your next adventure.

Cozy Family Mountain Getaway in the Pines King Bed

Newer family home in a lovely little neighborhood. The house is decorated in a cozy country style that invites relaxation. The house has three patios and one with a table for outdoor dining. Our home has a smart TV for easy access to your favorite apps. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking meals together. Our local marina, Lime Saddle, has boat, kayak and paddle board rentals for a day on the lake.

Storybook Suite

We are a pet-friendly dwelling and welcome all pets who have good house manners. As we do live upstairs with 3 pets - there will be some footsteps from time to time. This unit stays nice and cool in the summer and there are heaters to keep warm in the winter. There is lots of space to socialize and a full kitchen to utilize. Whether traveling for work or pleasure - The Storybook Suite will provide a cozy mountain farm retreat.
