This family home is within two miles of the medieval village of Carlingford and the home of some of the finest restaurants and bars on the North East coast. Enjoy the excellent quality food and service with the famous locally grown Carlingford oysters washed down with locally brewed beers. Take the local fifteen minute ferry ride and you will arrive at the Royal County Down golf club. Should you prefer things to be a little less hectic , take one of the many hiking trails just outside your back door, or retire to the sun room to read and relax. Alternatively , just meander through the beautifully matured Ros Cottage garden all lovingly planted by the owner. This is a very unique and beautiful home with an abundance of character. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves, explore the beach every day, walk the coastline, and drop into the infamous Lily Finnegans Pub.

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

The Swallow's Return Log Cabin was created to help all reconnect with nature. Situated beside a stream that flows from the Cooley mountains. Surrounded by mature ash trees. Fully equipped kitchen with an open plan seating area. Combi gas boiler for heating and hot water. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and a sink with a censor light mirror. Two bedrooms, main bedroom has double bed, second bedroom has a bunk bed which sleeps three. All weather decking seating area outside.
