Within walking distance from Taaibosch, Pink Valley and Avontuur Wine and stud farm. Just across the R44 Ken Forrester Wines is luring. For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

Wine Farm Cottage

The cottage offers guests an unique opportunity to stay on a rustic working wine farm. It forms part of the farmstead of a historic wine farm, but has its own little garden with a view over vineyards. It is located on the R44 between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, which makes it the ideal place to reside when exploring the many surrounding wineries and restaurants. The road may be a bit noisy, but most guests hear birds more often than they hear cars. The cottage was built in the 1980’s.

This cosy 2-bedroom unit features a queen-size bed in the main bedroom and two three-quarter beds in the second bedroom. The bathroom boasts both a shower and a bath, with an additional guest toilet conveniently located off the lounge area. The small university town of Stellenbosch is a wonderful place to visit and is 3km down the road from us. All guests are welcome to stay in this relaxing, quiet and cosy room with its own separate entrance. Nestled below the beautiful Stellenbosch mountain range and surrounded by neighbouring vineyards.

Hillside Cottage

Come and stay in our peaceful studio cottage high up on Helderberg Mountain surrounded by trees and hear the owls hooting as you fall asleep! Beautiful new cottage, with it's own deck and garden and stylishly furnished to meet your every need. And now with solar installed (April 2023) we have NO LOAD-SHEDDING! We've replaced the oven and hob with a fully gas stove so all appliances can be used during load shedding!

Stonewall guest suite

This guest suite is set on a working wine farm in the winelands between Somerset West and the historic town Stellenbosch. It is situated in what used to be the stables and has since been converted to a tasting room and guest suite. The suite consists of a big, airy room, a separate kitchenette and a bathroom. It has its own front porch with a view over the farmstead and it is adjacent to a chicken coop.
