Y’all come stay a while… Fred and Fanny’s belonged my sweet grandparents who nary met a stranger. Their 2 bedroom 1 Bath home is located right in the Town of New Castle, where my granny was the Treasurer for many years. It’s fully furnished and features eat in kitchen, washer and dryer, and fenced in yard. Walking distance to town… and It’s not real far from Roanoke or Blacksburg. Close to Wilderness Adventure, and it’s less than 27 mins to the Furthest Trailhead in Va’s Triple crown!

Unwind in a spacious tiny home on a working farm with vegetables, herbs, fruits, dairy goats, sheep, and chickens. Restored 1900 farmhouse with high end finishes with a babbling brook and view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the front porch. Wedding venue, Appalachia Hills, is next door. Walnut Hills is situated between Rocky Mount and Roanoke offering music and other entertainment at the Harvester and Berglund Centers. Franklin County has scenic roads for cycling enthusiasts with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Good hiking destinations are nearby.

Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the firepit, and relax on the dock. There is two miles of trails on the 37 acre property with their own trail signs and map.
