You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

Perfect for fishing, hunting, hiking or just enjoying the view. Great for work crews with room to park a utility trailer. 16 miles from SIU.

(open all year long) Watch the 12 ft. windmill twirl as it catches the wind. Resident ducks will provide fun entertainment. End the day with a night fire around the fire pit. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.
