The place is geographically central to all of the Canberra's attractions and most of the Governemt offices, just 10 minutes to the city, Belconnen, Barton, Kingston and Woden. Mt Cooper Cottage is situated on a working sheep property. It was built to be the cook house for shearers in the 19th century, with historic significance. The integrity of the rustic charm remains with modern amenities for your convenience. The cottage is 1.5 hours drive from Jindabyne and 1.5 hours drive to the coast. The main heating is a wood fuel heater, you will need to be able to light a fire. Altitude approx 1000mtrs the climate is cold in winter, often cold during other seasons.

Enjoy a full kitchen open living area, private bedroom with queen bed and a large bathroom and shower. The flat is seperate to the main house and attached to the side of our garage. Giving you your own private area, with a garden shed to store any outdoor items you have.
