Easy access to Mount Gretna's famous attractions including The Lake and Beach, Playhouse, Jigger Shop - and numerous hiking and biking trails. Close to Hershey, Lancaster, and Harrisburg.

As you turn off the paved road onto our country lane, you can already feel yourself relax as you prepare for a time of rejuvenation at Apple Lane Getaway. You can choose between hiking the Appalachian Trail, visiting Hershey Park, or playing a round at Lebanon Valley Golf Course just down the road. Welcome to The Barn on Fox Alley—a piece of history nestled in the heart of Lancaster city. The Barn on Fox Alley is a repurposed garage built in 1999, transformed into a magnificent Amish barn that pays homage to Lancaster county’s rich heritage. Step inside, and you'll find yourself immersed in the warmth and character of a bygone era. The spacious interior of the barn is meticulously adorned with hand-hewn reused floors and reclaimed barn wood throughout.

Farm Country Getaway

Relax in this newly-renovated apartment bordered by cornfields. This property offers a peaceful country retreat with easy access to Hershey (30 min.), Lancaster (40 min.), Harrisburg (30 min.) and Mt. Gretna (10 min.). Please note: My family lives above the apartment. We aim to be quiet when we have guests, but you may hear sounds of small feet, small voices, etc. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate service animals due to a family allergy.

We are located 30-40 minutes from Lancaster and Harrisburg, and about 25 minutes from Hershey, making lots of sightseeing possibilities. If you are looking for nature experiences, there are multiple parks close by. We look forward to meeting you!
