We welcome you to be our guests and enjoy the views from the large ocean facing windows and the upper deck. Relaxing in the spa after hiking in the nearby Redwoods or exploring the beaches is absolute heaven! If you can, bring your bikes for even more fun getting around this coastal town.

Smith River Retreat

Drive down the 300-foot driveway and enter a world of peace and tranquility. This newly and completely remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 bath home sits on approximately 2 gorgeous acres. 5 minutes away from Jed Smith National Park which contains some of the most majestic Redwoods of all which is also a good place to access the river. Hike down Walker Rd. which takes you through a dense forest, then down alongside the river. A place that deserves a spot high on any bucket list.

This unique place has a style all its own. At the ugly Marlin you can fully relax or embrace your inner beachcomber. A quick walk down the street takes you to an adventurous beach where you can hunt Agates and Sea Glass explore tide pools, climb rocks or Surf. At the end of a long day enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean or cooking in our modern kitchen with ocean views. Stay at Harris Hideaway oceanfront studio. We have established a policy that should keep everyone safer right now. We have added an EV charger and a Tesla adapter for you use. Before your visit, the place will be sanitized (as always) and will be vacant for at least two until your arrival. We will block the days before and after you book to meet this objective for all our guests. We want to do our part. Letting you know.
