Step back in time and enjoy a stay in peaceful Ranfurly and explore the wonderful Maniototo region and Rail Trail. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. Our holiday home has no wifi or TV, but there is a cupboard full of board games, a shed full of firewood and old bikes! Enjoy a ride on the rail trail in either direction for a pub meal. A pint and pie at the Waipiata Pub is a must do local experience. Naseby is a short 10 min drive away.

We are close to local shop, village pub, cafe, park (inc children play area), museum, information centre, tennis courts, Naseby Forest Recreation Area, swimming dam. Don't forget Naseby as a fantastic dark skies location!!

The School House @ The Old Naseby School House

Yes, this is really The Old Naseby School House. This 2 bedroom house sleeps up to 7 people. A king room with ensuite, a second bedroom with 3 single beds, and the option of a double sofa bed in the lounge area. All beds have electric blankets. Full kitchen. Second bathroom with washing machine. The living area is heated by a log burner & heat pump. Outside is a verandah to BBQ & relax & enjoy the outdoor area.

We offer a quiet rural setting with views of the surrounding mountains and hills, overlooking our lifestyle farm. We have sheep, and chickens in the orchard, so may hear rural chatter along with bird song. We have two small friendly dogs.
