This all repurposed bunkie is in a picturesque setting on Manitoulin island. It has a large deck to enjoy the day . 230sq ft living space inside. It offers a queen size bed for our guest to find comfort and rest , along with a futon ; this cabin has a wonderful rustic feel. The cabin is framed with a beautiful wood finish with select antiques as decorations. This humble cabin has solar lights, bar fridge, power bar to charge devices. The washroom is a compostable outhouse. We have fire wood.

Off-The-Grid, The Church, at Avalon eco Resort

The Church is a small off-the-grid cabin on Tyson Lake/Wolf creek @ Avalon Eco Resort in Killarney, Ontario. Your stay comes with a park pass for the Killarney Provincial Park, canoes & kayaks, and firewood. A few, maybe, helpful notes: this cabin has a low ceiling at 6'2". We provide pillows, bed linens, and a quilt blanket. We have five centrally located restrooms. While the setting is peaceful, some highway and marina noise may be heard. Century Old Dovetail Cabin

Nestled between Sudbury & Manitoulin Island is our 400 acre property along the mighty Spanish River. Our cabin, originally built as a sauna in the 1920s, was converted to a sleep camp in the 70s. It features: bedroom w double bed; small enclosed sitting area w vault ceiling; screened-in porch w a twin bed; & deck overlooking the Spanish River. Head out to explore pristine, undisturbed wilderness at your doorstep.

The Cedar Rose

Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. Our space is an inviting space to unwind, unplug and wake up to the sounds of the birds after enjoying the stars on a clear night.
