Equipped with all the amneties of home for a nice stay , 2 bedroom's included and has lots of room including 2 bathrooms with showers in each. There is Tv's in each unit with a couch to relax. Stove & fridge to cook a nice meal. The Cabot Trail is about an hour away. Newfoundland ferry is 15 mins away. Great unit for 2 people or 4. There is an adjoining door in the middle that seperates the units.

2 bedroom cottage on the Mira River Cottages property. Open concept living area and kitchen. 2 single beds in each bedroom, and futon which can sleep 1 or 2 persons. Less than 30 mins to Sydney, 17 mins to the Wildlife Park, and 45 mins to the Fortress of Louisbourg. And with a short walk from the cottage you will be greeted with the breathtaking view of the Mira River. We welcome you all year round where you can enjoy the 4 seasons of Cape Breton. Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

Woodsy Cabin on the Bras d'Or

Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.

The property also has its own 1km hiking trail that circles the property.
