Adventure ON the Beach

This 2 bedroomed private apartment is on the beach - there is some local vegetation in front of you that provides some privacy. This is a light and airy space - The Living room and bedroom sliding doors open onto the garden overlooking the ocean. A garden gate leads you to the beach and our well known local surfspot Point. The space is perfect for adventurous, outdoorsy people who love the beach and enjoys surfing and the ocean. It is very peaceful with the constant sound of the waves around u.

The Beach House

The Beach House is a small, but beautifully proportioned residence which sits in an enviable location, just metres from the golden sands of Jeffrey’s Bay. Be woken in the morning with the sunlight flooding in, have breakfast on the deck watching dancing dolphins, spend the day surfing or exploring and end the day watching the sky turn scarlet in front of the fire pit. Please also see 127 da Gama if you want to rent the whole property. Please note it is a Japanese style bed and relatively hard.

As much as we would love to welcome all, the setting isn't child friendly and definitely offers a more wonderful getaway for two.

This vintage forest cabin is perched above our pristine mountain stream, set amidst a highly diverse indigenous botanical forest wetland.The cabin is entirely private with a large deck and extensive views of both mountain peaks. Hand built by owner over a period of two years, with hardwood floors throughout, hand waxed with beeswax polish from our own hives. Guests enjoy their own private access along their secluded forest path. A vintage Nestor Martin canon style wood stove will restore you.

"Bird Song" private getaway, tucked away in nature

"Bird Song" is named after the host of bird calls that greet you each morning (and the night jars that you hear after dark). It is the perfect 'private bush camp' for a ‘family-of-4’ vacation or for a secluded ‘get-away-from-it-all retreat’ for couples. The architect designed timber structure is set on a slope with views through and over the fynbos and right at the edge of pristine Indigenous Forest. A wood fired fireplace ensures you are (relatively) warm in winter.

A large bright upstairs room above a double garage with a private balcony. The room looks out over trees and the garden. Private, equipped, self-catering with a small kitchen area. It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.

Soak up the peace and quietness while enjoying the true beauty that nature has to offer. The cabin was completed just before the lockdown. The building of the cabin was started by my husband and completed only 2 years later in remembrance of him.
