The 2nd floor has 2 bdrms (1 queen room & 1 with full & twin), a beautiful ceramic tiled bathroom, walk in shower & claw foot tub. All linens, lots of extra pillows & blankets. Custom Log Cabin on the Ford River! In a secluded area close to 4Wheeling trails, family kayaking, great views, nature, family-friendly activities. It is one hour away from Marquette, also one hour away from Picture Rocks, plus some other areas of interest in the upper peninsula. You’ll love my place because of its serene surroundings in front of the river. It is a beautiful custom log cabin in a beautiful area. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).

Sylvatica Ecolodge Nature Retreat

If you love tranquil cozy cabins in the woods, you will love Sylvatica Ecolodge! Sylvatica is a latin word meaning "of the forest" and this lodge is exactly that. Secluded cabin in a beautiful setting immediately adjacent to Hunters Brook Waterfall and the Escanaba River. This is a place for total relaxation and exploration. It offers excellent fly or spin cast fishing in a shale bottom river. Sit by the fire pit and enjoy nature at it’s best. This is a “must experience” type of getaway! There is no WiFi or TV. Cell service is spotty. It’s a great place to unplug.
