This is a rare opportunity to enjoy a private lakefront, as only homeowners and guests have access to the water! Surrounded by old growth forests, this secluded getaway sits on 4 acres for you to explore. Oh and don't forget to look up! Our guests can enjoy unobstructed views of the spectacular Aurora Borealis. Off-The-Grid, "The Barn" at Avalon Eco Resort

Your stay includes a Killarney Provincial Park pass, access to canoes and kayaks, plus firewood. So, come spend a day or two away from the noise of everyday life and discover what Killarney has to offer. A few, maybe, helpful notes: Our cabins are probably not HGTV approved. The barn is near shared amenities and footpaths. We provide pillows, bed linens, and a quilt blanket. We have five centrally located restrooms. While the setting is peaceful, some highway and marina noise may be heard.

COUNTRY CABIN

This all repurposed bunkie is in a picturesque setting on Manitoulin island. It has a large deck to enjoy the day . 230sq ft living space inside. It offers a queen size bed for our guest to find comfort and rest , along with a futon ; this cabin has a wonderful rustic feel. The cabin is framed with a beautiful wood finish with select antiques as decorations. This humble cabin has solar lights, bar fridge, power bar to charge devices. The washroom is a compostable outhouse. We have fire wood.

The Gervais Getaway

Come for a getaway! A family friendly camp Located on the renown Spanish River. We have a boat ramp on site or enjoy our kayaks and paddle board. Grill some good food, sip some drinks, play lawn games, swim in the river, have a fire or go out exploring. Trails around if you’d like to bring your ATV. We are located close to Espanola, between Sudbury and Manitoulin Island, just 3 minutes off hwy 17. Off-Grid but convenient with remote generator (from inside the camp) and efficient battery pack

Adjacent to the owner occupied home, this private space offers a private entrance & free parking for one vehicle and only 10 minutes to all necessities (banks, grocery store, LCBO, gas station etc. ) and 20 minutes to the downtown core of Sudbury Ontario. We also offer a private cabin rental on the property that can host an additional 2-3 people if required.

Nestled between Sudbury & Manitoulin Island is our 400 acre property along the mighty Spanish River. Our cabin, originally built as a sauna in the 1920s, was converted to a sleep camp in the 70s. It features: bedroom w double bed; small enclosed sitting area w vault ceiling; screened-in porch w a twin bed; & deck overlooking the Spanish River. Head out to explore pristine, undisturbed wilderness at your doorstep.

The Cedar Rose

Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. Our space is an inviting space to unwind, unplug and wake up to the sounds of the birds after enjoying the stars on a clear night.
