Let the tension from the road melt away in our hot tub and spa like rain shower, then relax on our comfortable California King beds. Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

It’s an easy 15 minute drive up the 101 to Cal Poly Humboldt, and not too far from beautiful beaches, and the majestic redwoods. Perfect for couples, small families, and business travelers.

The property is in a redwood forest with a good size meadow for sunshine and flowers. It's a great base camp for exploring the beautiful beaches, Redwood forest and local cities of Trinidad and Arcata. Maximum 3 guests, or 4 guests if one or more guests are under 12.

My guest space is a small, private room (11x7, not incl bathroom) attached to the back of my house. The room has a private entrance off the backyard with an attached private bath. I offer keyless entry. Guests can enjoy the attached deck off the room and relax in a peaceful yard. The room is a burst of color to contrast with the gray days in Humboldt. The room is a short walk to the zoo and several restaurants. Old town is a quick drive.
