The cottage maintains many original features including the original stone floor and hearth. It’s set on its own private garden where you can truly enjoy the peace and quiet of this amazing place and is also an ideal base for discovering so much including the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Penninsula.

An ideal getaway for a couple or young family looking to explore the Ring of Kerry, the Gap of Dunloe, Muckross & Torc waterfall. Killarney town is 5km and the National Park 2km. A great alternative for those who want to attend events at the nearby 5 ⭐️ Aghadoe Heights Hotel or Europe Hotel also.

Helen’s Cottage - Set in Muckross in Killarney

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on a dairy farm in Muckross in Killarney. Relax in this tiny one bedroom cottage in the Irish countryside. Look out onto green fields. A perfect base for hiking or cycling in the area. The cottage was built in the 1970’s so it is not a new property and the interior reflects the age. The house is not suitable for kids as there is only 1 bed.

Cosy Chalet with one large family bedroom upstairs (double and single beds). Cot /high chair and stair gate available. Downstairs has a spacious kitchen and living room with a wood burning stove, TV and WIFI, also Toilet/shower room. Its a separate unit behind our home with plenty privacy. Guests have a private outdoor seating area with access to big lawn.

My place is close to restaurants and dining, public transport, nightlife, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the views, the people, and the location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Walking distance to town but feels like the country.
