Cozy, quiet studio cottage nestled on 1/3 acre of trees and surrounded by seasonal creeks. Indoor gas fireplace and full kitchen & large spacious deck. In Sonoma Wine Country, 12 minutes to downtown gourmet restaurants, and organic coffee houses. Take gorgeous backroads to Bodega Bay and Sonoma Coast. Nestle into the warm glow of a gas fireplace or watch for deer and wildlife from the deck or living room. This is a perfect retreat space for one or two people; it is not appropriate for parties.

Forest Cozy Home

My house in Forestville is a walk to the river (Steelhead County Beach), near endless wineries, canoe rentals, gorgeous Sonoma coast beaches, Santa Rosa airport, a bicycle trail through West County with bike rentals in downtown Forestville offering immediate access to the trail, and a very well-stocked little grocery store a 5-minute walk down the hill. Lovely back roads take you to Healdsburg to the north or Sebastopol to the south. My dog & I stay in a basement studio when guests are here.

If you appreciate: organic/farm-to-table foods, wine tasting, antiquing, majestic redwoods, floating down a river, fishing, then you won't find a more perfect launch pad from which to explore the magnificent bounty that is Northern California. We are 15 minutes from Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Graton, Occidental, Guerneville, Santa Rosa, Windsor - so much fun to be had!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay on a quiet hilltop. This is a quaint 2 bedroom, 1 bath with a queen bed in one bedroom and bunk (twin over full) in the second bedroom. Relax in the hot tub or in the hammock on the backyard deck with a peaceful nature view or hang inside the cozy abode and make use of the fully-stocked kitchen. we have a limit of 4 overnight guests and 2 vehicles per Sonoma County permit rules. Overlooking a fern grotto and redwood valley, The Perch lets you experience nature up close. Come unwind and luxuriate in nature. Limited cell service. Our guest cottage is cozy, quiet, and quaint. A good place to unwind in a country setting. We are located only moments from fabulous restaurants and a vast selection of Russian River wineries. The beautiful Russian River is less than 1/4 mile away! With the new developments in the world we utilize a 24 inch UVC sterilization lamp. Your room will be fully sterilized prior to your arrival.
