LHOTP (Lil House On The Prairie)

Lil House On The Prairie (LHOTP) is aptly named because it’s located on the edge of Nachusa Grassland’s 1,000 acre south Bison pasture. The 100+ herd of free ranging Bison can often be viewed right along the boundary fence to the west! This recently remodeled two bedroom cottage can sleep six with two queen size beds and with a pull out sofa bed. LHOTP offers a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to base your adventures from. We welcome you to be our guest in our comfy, warm cabin nestled on the lower Wisconsin River. We are close to many area attractions including Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, House on the Rock, American Players Theater, Wisconsin Dells, and much more! Activities include canoeing, fishing, hunting, shopping in quaint villages, or just relaxing watching the river... Our cabin is easy to get to and close to area villages but in a private setting.

Come relax at Turtle Beach Marina! Rent a Pontoon or a Kayak. Spend the day at the beach and at the beach bar (Beach bar is open mid May until the last weekend in October). There is a restaurant and gaming room (slots) on the property. Quaint cottage has 2 bedrooms with a full bed in each. Up to 4 people allowed. There is no oven but has a 2 burner electric cook top. A grill is also available. Beach themed cottage is completely remodeled. 💜
