The Old Schoolhouse is a beautifully renovated house which was originally the local national school built in 1887. All rooms in the house have breath taking views of the Shannon estuary. The house has wooden floors and ceilings throughout and a balcony where guests can sit and have breakfast overlooking the river. Labasheeda is a peaceful village on the Wild Atlantic way within easy reach of Kilimer Car ferry, Loop Head, Kilkee, the Cliffs of Moher any many more beautiful sights.

The cottage has been completely transformed in 2023 in to a beautiful luxurious home beside all the amenities that the charming village has to offer. Escape into nature in a 5 star, architecturally designed, off grid cabin. Stay in seclusion at Burren Nature Sanctuary, adults only stay. Fully off grid experience including solar powered hot water and a modern Scandinavian dry (compost) toilet. Upon arrival you are provided with a fully charged battery, powered by solar panels on the roof and a reservoir of treated rainwater harvested on the roof for washing.
