The road back to the cabin is a little rough but is pretty flat and in no way dangerous. We recommend 4 wheel drive vehicles.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We are located at New Germany State Park. It is a nice walk or a short drive to the park for hiking, biking, cross country skiing and or swimming. We are also a 25 minute drive to the Wisp ski resort. We are centrally located. Also close to Savage River Reservoir for kayaking, canoeing or fishing. Our goal is for the family to enjoy time away!

Brownstone Cottage

After extensive renovations, the cottage is a comfortable and cozy retreat in the mountains of Western Maryland. The cottage is very close to FSU, the Great Allegany Trail, and the scenic railroad!
