Cozy & very clean waterfront home, perfect for a couples getaway. Property is overlooking the Saint Andrews Channel with access to a small private wharf. Unfortunately you cannot dive from or dock boat on wharf. Ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing or simply just putting your feet up and relaxing. After a day on the water relax in front of a small campfire and watch the boats returning for the evening as the sunsets. A perfect, well deserved day of peace, calm and tranquility.

MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. Situated on the beautiful Mira River, our home sits on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped greenspace perfect for you to relax, play, or enjoy the waterside fire pit. There is a dock at the waters edge for fishing or watersports, and an an extra large patio with a bbq for your entertainment. we have two kayaks.

Private downstairs 2-bedroom basement apartment located in the quiet community of South Bar. Take advantage of the view and great sunsets with a relaxing stroll down to the shore. Apartment is well suited for 2 couples, a small family or solo travelers. We cannot allow pets in our Airbnb…we are unable to make exceptions to this policy. Full size newly renovated kitchen available for cooking meals or prepping a light snack. Washer and dryer are also available for your convenience.

This 900 sqft A-frame ocean front cottage has beautiful pine vaulted ceilings just steps to the Atlantic Ocean. The 3 bedrooms are cozy, with 1 queen, 1 double, and a bunk bed plus a crib. You can swim, walk and explore the beach. There is a swing set on the property and a large deck. Sit around the fire pit in the adirondack chairs and roast some marshmallows. Our cottage is a 5 minute drive to Mira Gut beach (life guarded) and Port Morien Beach, and only 20 minutes to Sydney!

Beach House on Bras d’Or Lakes

Each person after the first 2, will be charged an additional $30/night. Due to the delicate nature of rural utilities, only paying guests are welcome to use the property. No gatherings or parties. The Bunkie is a STAND ALONE structure, separate from the Beach House. Consider this if traveling with young kids. This cozy bunkie (10’ x 14’) sports a comfy King sized bed, vaulted ceiling, great views and a covered deck. THIIS IS THE ONLY CLIMATE CONTROLLED AREA at the property.
