The shower setup is unconventional, though does provide a warm - hot shower depending on the weather! - READ BELOW. The cottage cold water tap is drinkable, no hot tap. Street parking on the no-through street. Please only stay if you're wanting a place to escape the modern world! Enjoy!

The City is a short 25min bus ride once there you can jump on and off the free tram service exploring the many attractions in our beautiful city of Adelaide or catch a tram down to beautiful Glenelg Beach

We are 3 minutes walk to the Uraidla Hotel and 10 minutes walk to Summerhill. We can provide meals delivered to your door. Stay in our spacious loft. NB: NO SMOKING. The apartment is several meters away from the main house, but very private (We live here). Views to the sea and city. It has an en-suite, kitchenette with sink, bar fridge, induction cooktop, electric grill, convection microwave, Nespresso pod machine and essential items. Pool available. Breakfast provisions and snacks provided. Close to services, hills retreat where you may hear koalas and Kookaburras. Spa no longer available.

Ovenden Lodge Guesthouse

OVENDEN LODGE offers dog-friendly accommodation, in a self-contained "granny flat" surrounded by open paddocks at the southern entrance to historic Gawler. With its ponies, birds and chickens, it is a quiet, private retreat for 1-2 adults, complete with cedar hot tub and sauna. Unfortunately, due to the ponds and animals on the property, Ovenden Lodge is NOT suited for children. Dogs and ponies are welcome by individual prior arrangement.
