This is the perfect “base camp” to escape from the crowds after a busy day on the slopes or hiking trails. The magic of this location is the easy transition from ski cabin to summer hideaway. The huge fenced yard is under the forest canopy of towering pines and lush ferns, providing cool spots for napping in the hammock, reading in the Adirondack chairs, playing yard games and relaxing around a fire. Bring food for the grill and take in the fresh mountain air.

The Bear's Den, studio with kitchen and pond/creek

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

Government camp cabin

Tucked away in the mountains, this cozy log cabin offers a peaceful retreat. The pellet stove adds warmth to the inviting ambiance. Just steps from downtown Government Camp, guests can explore shops, restaurants, and attractions. With easy access to skiing and mountain biking trails, outdoor adventures await year-round. Our cozy, pet-friendly cabin has been remodeled top to bottom. It has an open floor plan and will sleep 2 comfortably in the loft with fold outs below suitable for 2 singles. Sandy Ridge Trail is right around the corner, Wildwood Park is across the way, and Mt Hood is a short 15 minute drive. Close to some great Eats and Drinks. We recently added a clawfoot tub with on demand hot water for a lovely soak outdoors!

Hood National Forest Land. A perfect getaway for couples looking to spend a romantic weekend in the woods or a home-base for those who are here to enjoy everything Mt. Hood has to offer. Hiking, fishing, skiing are only minutes away!

Smokey’s Lost Haven

Small & cozy cabin in the woods. Short walk to Zig Zag river. Well equipped to make you feel comfortable & a little spoiled. Amazing back covered porch makes enjoying the outdoor possible any time of year! Sleeping 6 will be VERY cozy, limited private sleeping areas. Queen bed in upstairs bedroom, Q bed downstairs in open bed cubby, and Q sleeper sofa.

The Little Stone Cottage

You’ll love the charm of the bright and cheery Little Stone Cottage! Warm and welcoming, it’s the perfect getaway retreat for two, and can sleep up to four. Easy to get to on a well maintained paved road just 15 miles from Mt. Hood’s ski slopes, it’s an excellent home base for exploring the Mt. Hood Corridor and beyond!
