Hilltop Hideaway is perched high on a hill overlooking the parklike setting of Watoga Crossing, a neighborhood that sits on the Greenbrier River Trail with private access to the trail. This custom cabin sits on 4.5 wooded acres in a designated dark sky area. The cabin is completely enclosed with a fence for your furry friends. The house is cozy and comfortable, decorated with eclectic touches and antiques. It is within a short walking distance from the Amtrak station and the public access to the Greenbrier River. (If train noise and a train horn bothers you, this may not be the place for you). Personally, I love the sight and sound of the train, even at night! I think there’s something exciting about the sound of the train. The front is located on a street setting, the back has a large yard and small stream.

My house is in Gauley River National Recreational area. And only Approximately 3 miles from Summersville Lake and the famous Gauley River whitewater rafting. Rock climbing, hiking trails, swimming only minutes away. Also Fayetteville is only 15 minutes away. And the New River Gorge Area. The United States newest National Park. Lots of hiking and endless adventures. Gorgeous sunset from the fire pit right in front of my house. Also enjoy the sunset view while soaking in the Hot Tub.
