Donegal Thatch Cottage

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

Idyllic Cottage in Scenic Donegal

The cottage comprises two double bedrooms, both ensuite. There is a fully equipped kitchen/diner with table and chairs. The property has oil fired central heating. There is a downstairs bathroom and large living room with a stove which has a TV, dvd player and cd player. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. There is excellent wifi. There is a garden and a patio area to the back with tables and chairs. Linen and towels are provided. A welcome basket will be provided.

There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is very limited depending on your network.
