Our Homestead and Cottage (please see our Goosewing Cottage listing too) are fully self-contained, architect-designed and immaculately presented. We are located in the peaceful, picturesque rural township of Mount View, around a 15-20 minute drive from Pokolbin. We are surrounded by neighbouring farms, lush, rolling pastures and an abundance of native wildlife. The stunning Homestead has panoramic views over the Brokenback Ranges and surrounding countryside, as well as its own private pool.

Hollybrook, a historic dairy farm, is an easy 2 hr drive from Sydney, and 1 hour from Newcastle. Cabin 1 is perfect for those with limited mobility. Close to major wedding venues: Redleaf, Woodhouse and Stonehurst, wineries and everything Hunter & local. Please note: We do not cater for children under 12, nor pets, at this time.

The Great North walk runs through the property allowing quests easy access to beautiful walks. Enjoy getting back to nature with the varied wildlife in the beautiful Congewai Valley. Oakey Creek Cottage is located in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Nestled amongst the vineyards and only a 5-minute drive from wineries and restaurants. The newly renovated cottage sleeps 6 people, with all linen supplied. The cottage provides all of your basic essential needs along with TV, reverse cycle air-con, washing machine and dryer, toaster and kettle, microwave, BBQ, wood fireplace, outdoor setting and on the cold winter nights bon fire area.

Surrounded by abundant wildlife (see photos). Vineyards and numerous golf courses in short distance, local wine tours operators are available . . Local 'watering hole' across the road, but not in viewing distance. Beds adjustable such as double to two singles.

We are a popular choice for wedding guests with a 6 minute drive to Redleaf, Mystwood and Woodhouse and 10 minutes to Stonehurst. Great base for exploring the Hunter vineyards, attending concerts, bushwalking or just relaxing and watching cows wander past.
