Quiet village getaway 20 mins from Alton Towers

This property was the old parish room which we have sympathetically given a make over. Lots of original features have been untouched. The photos do not do this property justice with its double height ceilings and huge log burner. A real hidden gem tucked away but close to everything. A great stay for those wanting a quiet couple of days or the thrills of Alton towers. Swallow cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout with attention to detail. A feeling of luxury and tranquility. The cottage enjoys underfloor heating and fabulous rural views to be enjoyed in the warmer months from the decking outside the kitchen. Patio doors open right up to allow the outside in. ‘The Loft’ at Peake’s Retreats is a self-contained, self catering accomodation with private hot tub. An annex to the main farmhouse the loft is only accessed by you and not shared with the farmhouse or other guests. A private entrance takes you into the kitchen with a cloakroom area. Upstairs is your large bedroom with super kingsize bed, and smart tv Your bathroom is accessed from the small landing at the top of the stairs. With shower over bath and complimentary Neals Yard toiletries.

Anslow Shires

Granville House West Wing

The apartment is on 3 floors within a grade II listed building. The kitchen is spacious with a log burner and all the nice appliances such as an American style fridge freezer, wine cooler, range cooker, coffee machine and a dishwasher. The glass-blown staircase leads up to the the snug and dressing room, which is cosy, off this is the bathroom with a large walk in shower and an infa-red sauna. The staircase in the snug leads up to the bedroom which is under a beautiful array of beams.

Rock Loft is a newly built and self contained annex. A rural retreat with countryside views, set in the small Staffordshire village of Hanbury. Close to the Derbyshire Dales border, gateway to the fabulous Peak District. Rock Loft has boots-off lobby & utility area with full laundry facilities on the ground floor. Main guest accommodation is on the first floor. A light bright open plan living space with kitchen, dining & lounge areas, two bright bedrooms & spacious shower room.

Glassworker's Cottage, a cosy 2 bedroomed home

This cosy cottage in the charming English village of Tutbury, dates back to an era when making fine glassware was the main trade here. The 2 bedroom property is packed with original features and character like twisty stairs, oak beams, low latch doors and a cottage garden. This house has been lovingly renovated from top to bottom, offering a stylish bolt hole on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border.
