Far from any roads, the dominant sounds are the many birds who make their homes in the surrounding trees. This is a thoughtfully furnished home with an open layout, on a coffee farm, just bring your food and clothes for which ever adventure you intend; leave the accommodations and ambiance to us.

The farm cottage is set at the top of our 5 acre exotic fruit farm. Enjoy your stay by touring the property and relaxing in our cozy home away from home. The cottage is equipt with everything you'll need without the clutter. From the living room, enjoy a view of the ocean, fruit trees, and tropical flowers. Listen to the birds chirp in the morning, and watch the sky turn colors as the sun sets. Our accommodations are licensed with the State of Hawaii. Our license number is BBHA 2020/0001

Our place is a cute, rustic cottage in the countryside, surrounded by 850 acres. Only 3 miles from Hawi Town and walking distance to ocean and historical trails to Kamehameha's birth site and Mo'okini Heiau. Since we live by pastures we sometimes have geckos (our local lizard). They are our friends because they eat the bugs, which we sometimes have. Awesome ocean and sunset views. During Humpback Whale Season (Dec-Apr) you can sometimes hear the whales sing and flapping their tails.

'Hale Iki' is a hidden treasure located in Volcano, Hawai'i. It is hand crafted entirely of cedar. The cottage is only 5 minutes away from Volcanoes National Park. You’ll love the coziness, privacy, high ceilings, loft, full kitchen, wood burning stove, and two-person tub. This house was built by my grandfather 30 years ago, and has retained the charm and warmth that he crafted into this cozy cottage.
