Look out northwards from the rooftop terrace to the Columbia River and Washington mountains, with trains occasionally rumbling by below. Fill the industrial-style interior of soaring ceilings and century-old pillars with the sounds of vintage vinyl. Please inform yourself on updates for Covid 19 in Hood River County prior to travel. License #678 Cool Industrial feel, cement floors, soaring ceilings, 100 year old brick and cement pillars. Modern yet cozy furnishings. There a record player with vintage vinyl. Gourmet kitchen. Fun, hip vibe, right in the middle of town. Walk to everything. The roof top deck is everyone’s favorite. Guests will have access to the entire loft. You'll have street parking permits as well as access to the garage to store bicycles and other important items. We don't provide access to the garage for automobiles due to the risk of providing garage door opener and tight corner for parking (you'll see what we mean). I’m here if you need me. Sense the industrial past of this location by the old train tracks in the center of downtown. Go for a run in the nearby waterfront park, with shops, restaurants, and breweries also nearby. Hit the ski slopes at Mount Hood, only 30 minutes away. Parking for our loft is best just right on the street. We offer meter passes for street parking. It is very important to remember to return these passes upon your departure so the next guests will also have free parking. There is a fine for losing or leaving with the parking passes and not returning them to the loft upon your check out. Walking distance to everything in downtown Hood River and the Columbia River. Great cafes, breweries, wine tasting rooms, and restaurants just minutes away. Double Mountain Brewery and Full Sail Brewery are a block away.

Twin Oaks House, Scenic Hwy, Mosier

Twin Oaks is an updated doublewide home perched on a basalt knoll with 11 beautiful acres overlooking vineyards and the Columbia River. Views include river and gorge to the west and north. In springtime see waterfalls on the Washington cliffs. Located 8 miles east of Hood River, Twin Oaks is near Mosier on scenic Hwy 30. This is in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, with nearby hiking, biking, watersports, boat ramp, & ski areas. Enjoy the numerous wineries and local microbrews in the area.

Located near the end of a quiet dead end road in Welches, Oregon. Short path to Sandy River. Easy access to HWY 26 and only 15 minutes to Government Camp or Sandy Ridge mountain biking. Enjoy the relaxing surroundings while staying in a newly renovated cabin with all the comforts of home. 2 night min. stay seasonally/Fri/Sat but possibly accept a 1 night stay...just ask. This studio is right downtown! Just a block to shops and restaurants, and a ten minute walk to the waterfront. The view from this studio is HUGE. Looking over the rooftops of downtown straight towards the spit, the 180 degree view extends west beyond the mouth of the White Salmon River, and east to the Hood River Bridge. We designed and built our White Salmon Retreat to be a family-friendly, pet-friendly ($20/pet) and therapeutic space set in the trees where your soul can find rest and relaxation. Our Retreat is surrounded by mature Fir, Oak, and Maple trees and frequented by the local wildlife. We are excited to share this space with you. Fully stocked kitchen! We use scent-free laundry soap and cleaning supplies. Washer/Dryer. Deck with fire pit table and gas grill. Nectar mattress is SO COMFORTABLE!

Elsie's View: Cozy Vintage/Modern Cabin

We are nestled in the woods within a stone's throw of the stunning White Salmon River. Our cabin dates to the 1920s (one of the oldest in the area but we recently updated it). 4 people max. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (one queen and one full size bed are available). A couple with one or two kids works okay too. What doesn’t work great are 4 adults who sleep separately since that means using the pull out couches downstairs. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

The Bear's Den, studio with kitchen and pond/creek

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.
