Step into one of the oldest homes in town, dating from 1884. Curated by the owners of the design studio Reykjavík Trading Co., The Garden Cottage has been completely remodeled to provide a unique feeling, with a lot of the furniture handmade or meticulously crafted and selected from their travels to California, Scandinavia & Mexico. The land behind The Garden Cottage is home to their designed greenhouse, communal garden, chickens and their most recent addition, The Shed which is their workshop / shop where you can visit for a coffee, buy pieces or see their process of making objects. Curated by the owners & designers of Reykjavík Trading Co. (an Icelandic / California homeware company) the Garden Cottage is their first project of creating a home space for guests to experience a unique & cozy feeling while visiting Iceland. The bottom floor of the 1884 built home has been completely remodeled for guests. Everything in the home has been either made by hand by R.T.Co. or selected from their collection of preferred products & appliances. Anthony Bacigalupo & Ýr Káradóttir, the owners of The Garden Cottage, live & work in the separate upper part of the historic home & their R.T.Co. workshop is located in the back of the garden for guests to visit, learn about the pieces being crafted, or just to have a cup of coffee. We wanted to create a place for guests to experience "slow living" & create a special stay. Having designed spaces for hotels, cafes, bars we decided to put our inspiration & collection into this project & build something completely one-of-a-kind in Iceland. The home was built in 1884 & we have been remodeling & bringing back the style it once was but also bringing back the garden & farm style that was once so prominent back in the day. We believe in hospitality to the fullest which sadly doesn't exist anymore in places. Since we live on the property we can answer any questions you have or have you in for a coffee if you need help deciding your journey in Iceland. The cottage is in the oldest part of Hafnarfjörður, a small harbor town. There are great farm-to-table restaurants, bakeries, live music, artist studios and swimming pools nearby. It’s conveniently located across the road from the town’s bus terminal. The house has three stories but is broken into two flats- we live on the upper floors with our children with separate driveway and front door- but we are here for anything you need or to have a coffee in the greenhouse! Our little town can be easily walked around & explored. Shuttle stops for airport & Blue Lagoon are 3 minutes walk next to the ocean & the bus terminal into Reykjavík is close as well.

Perfect place for northern lights watching, no light pollution. A lot of interesting places in the neighbourhood and surrounding areas. Stunning mountain view (Eyjafjallajökull is only 20 km away) and very well located for day tours to many beautiful places. This area is also perfect for birdwatchers, a lot of birds arrives during spring time and the whole area sounds of birds song, spring and summer time. This rental is for two separate houses: Each house has 2 rooms and full bathrooms with showers so 4 rooms total for up to 9 people.. Location is on a large private land far from other houses. Outside there is geothermal hot tub always on and Sauna . Fully equipped kitchen, and outside BBQ. Located on the Golden Circle near Geysir. Great for outdoor hiking to amazing places and great dark spot in the winter for Northern Lights viewing. A 4x4 is important to access the house in the winter

Pálína Cottage Studio

Pálína Cottage Studio is a new accommodation in the Golden Circle, well locate. There are two apartments in the house, each 20m2. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is private. In winter you can see the northern lights. It is close to all the main natural gems of South Iceland: Þingvellir, Skálholt, Gullfoss, Geysir and many more Children, infants and toddlers are not allowed. We want our guests to have peace and quiet and to be able to enjoy their time in a peaceful environment.

A quiet place with a stunning view for small group

The house is located on a small farm in north Iceland. Guests have a lot of privacy in the house as it stands alone. You might see our horses and even sheep close to the house. Our dog and cat are friendly and might pay you a visit. You can go for short walks among horses, sheep and birds in a varied landscape. During the winter, there is a unique experience to sit in the hot tub and watch the northern lights. The house is a good place for home office due to high speed wi-fi and facilities.

Peaceful and lovely cottage on the land of farm Syðri-Hagi with lovely ocean views. Located on the west side of Eyjafjörður, with majestic mountain ranges and welcoming valleys. The cottage Sólsetur (Sunset) is 25 square meters, built 2016-2017. The cottage has one bedroom with two beds and a sleepingcouch for two in the livingroom. The kitchen is fully equiped. Facilities for four persons. On the terrace there is a geothermal hot tub and a gas grill.

Björg Hörgárdalur farm stay apt. B

Apartment B offers peace, privacy, and breathtaking views on our serene Icelandic farm. Unwind in the shared geothermal hot tub and cold plunge, surrounded by pure nature and crisp mountain air. On clear winter nights, you might see the Northern Lights above and enjoy crystal-clear water flowing straight from our mountain, Staðarhnjúkur. 10 minutes drive to Akureyri and a lot of activities nearby. Charming old house at Arnarstapi on the west coast

Our house is 80 years old and was originally built as the local store using building materials such as concrete mixed with lava from the glacier/volcano Snæfellsjökull. The house stands by the main-road and should, therefore, be easily accessible all year round. It is located 230 meters from the beautiful dock of Arnarstapi. A newly built porch stretches all around the house accessible from within the kitchen and the main entrance.

The Holiday house is very cozy and has a floor heating. There can up to 7 people stay overnight. The kitchen is equipped with modern whiteware and all necessary things for cooking. Outside the sitting room is a patio where the view is breathtaking and in winter there is a good chance to witness amazing northern lights! There is free WiFi access in the holiday house. Horseback riding is available with personal service.
