Kokako Lodge is a compact self contained haven, with upcycled rustic decor. The lodge sits on our family property of 1 acre, it has established trees and gardens. Kokako lodge is a separate abode to the main house. It has a main bedroom with a queen sized bed and a mezzanine floor above the kitchen which has 2 single or a king size bed. The walls are adorned with local artists drawings and paintings. Kokako lodge is 5 minute drive from the city and close to the Wanganui river walk. A real treasure.

'The Stones' Farm Accommodation near Kai Iwi Beach

Self contained one-bedroom unit near beautiful Kai Iwi Beach. Located on a lifestyle block in a peaceful setting with views to the ocean. The unit has its own entrance but is attached to our garage. There is a lovely front porch ideal for enjoying beautiful sunsets. Queen size bed in separate bedroom with a sofa bed available in lounge if required. We have a separate self contained 2 B R lodge on the estate. There are 2 acres of botanical gardens with beautiful walkways . Our home is one of the original homesteads of Whanganui dating back to the 1880s. We are 5 min from all the main attractions Virginia Lake Waimarie Paddle Steamer Durie Hill Tower & Elevator

Keep it simple at this peaceful and well-located space, with access to the beautiful Virginia Lake , quaint little guest residence with queen bed & ensuite. Recently painted and carpeted. With own access. Facilities to make tea and coffee, with microwave / toaster and mini fridge and Smart TV in second room. Guest house is located next to the main dwelling, linked by beautiful decking, that guests have shared access to utilise. Our house / guesthouse is situated well back from the road.

The Signal Box Riverside Accommodation- Whanganui

Stay in a beautifully restored New Zealand Railway Signal Box. This building has plenty of character and spectacular elevated views of the Whanganui River. Relocated in the late 1990's to its current position, the Signal Box is set on 5 acres of land with the adjacent family home, chicken run and farmland. Check out our website for more information. We are situated on Papaiti Road, on the true righthand side of the Whanganui River, approximately 8km up the river from the centre of the city.
