Cozy Alaska yurt - Full bathroom

Experience the Alaska lifestyle in our cozy, ON-grid yurt. Nestled a short walk up the hillside, you'll be serenaded by squirrels and can watch the trees rustling overhead from your new firm memory foam bed. Far from "roughing it", this yurt has all the amenities: hot and cold running (drinkable) water, electricity, a full kitchen and a shower. While there is a composting toilet inside the yurt, if you'd like to stick to a "normal" toilet, there is also a shared restroom near the parking area.

Cozy yurt just outside of town

If you're wanting something a little different than a hotel room, come stay in our yurt nestled at the back of our property. There are mountain views right outside the door. Located only a short distance to the Seward boat harbor and Kenai Fjords national park. The yurt features a skylight to lay in bed and view the sky, electric fireplace, water cooler, coffee maker, as well as a shared bath house with full size shower, vanity and toilet. There are 2 other yurts on site sharing the bathhouse.

Forest Yurt

Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Enjoy the hot tub, collect fresh chicken eggs, and breathe forest air!

Original Yurt Ecolodge Package #1

Stay at our wilderness ecolodge located in the Kenai Fjords! We offer oceanfront yurt lodging on our property that is surrounded by the Alaskan wilderness. Activities of sea kayaking and hiking are included! Our secluded location is accessible only by boat from Seward, Alaska. We provide boat transportation for all guests. The boat trip is about 40 minutes each way - look for wildlife like whales, otters, eagles, sea lions, and more! This entire experience is included in your nightly rate.

Sunshine Homestead

Feel the joy when you sleep under the stars on Sunshine Drive in Happy Valley! The yurt is 16' and 4-season insulated, complete with stove, microwave, running water, an outdoor fire pit, BBQ grill, and patio. This is a private yurt on a quiet road that welcomes well mannered dogs. There is a tiny, single person A-frame also available to rent nearby. Restroom is a lit outhouse with parking. The yurt in on Sunshine Homestead, just down the driveway, where I raise hens, and a large garden.

A Homer Roundhouse W/ Mountains, Bay, Volcano View

The Homer Roundhouse is a perfect lodging choice for a couple, a small family or 4-5 adults. Located on a small road across from the beach yet hidden in town, this first class yurt is wonderful. All modern appliances and conveniences. You'll love it! We only book 3 night minimum stays on our calendar until March 1st then we open our calendar up to fewer days. Please know that there is so much to do and see in the Homer/Kachemak Bay area that 3 nights should always be the preference.

Birdsong Yurt

Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in this charming 16’ Alaskan yurt on 5 beautiful, privately landscaped acres. It’s glamping at its finest~ no running water or toilet, but has electricity, fresh drinking water, queen size bed and a cute super clean outhouse. Showers available in town. NO smoking allowed anywhere. Minimum two night stay. Infant or small child free. $30 pet fee per pet~ request at booking. Pets must be on leash or under voice control and kept with you.

We are located on a forested acre. Our Yurt's are modern with all amenities included. We are located north of Seward, 8 minutes from our lodging to the boat harbor. It is a short 7 minute walk to Bear Lake and to Bear Creek Weir a salmon spawning creek. Our season runs from May 10 thru September 30 annually.
