Παραδοσιακό σπίτι στο χωριό της Κιμώλου,στις νοτιοδυτικές κυκλάδες στο Αιγαίο πέλαγος. Το χωριό,χτισμένο στους πρόποδες του Ξαπλοβουνιού, με τα κάτασπρα σπίτια, τις λουλουδιασμένες αυλές και τα στενά φιδογυριστά δρομάκια του με τους ασβεστωμένους “αρμούς”, είναι μια κυκλαδίτικη ζωγραφιά με μια ιδιαίτερη, τοπική νότα.Ο παλαιότερος οικιστικός πυρήνας είναι το Κάστρο, γύρω από το οποίο επεκτάθηκε ο οικισμός ήδη από το τέλος του 17ου αιώνα, αλλά κυρίως μετά την Ελληνική Επανάσταση. Έτσι όσο πιο κοντά στο Κάστρο βρίσκεται ένα σπίτι, τόσο παλιότερο είναι, κατά κανόνα. Στο Χωριό της Κιμώλου, δε θα βρείτε μια μεγάλη κεντρική πλατεία, αλλά μερικές μικρές όπως της Θεοσκέπαστης, του Κάμπου (με την παιδική χαρά) ή του Σχολείου (με ωραία θέα). Στο Χωριό θα βρείτε αρκετά καταστήματα, αγροτικό ιατρείο, φαρμακείο, ΕΛΤΑ, Αστυνομικό Τμήμα, ΑΤΜ. Στην Κίμωλο υπάρχει μια διάφανη, αστραφτερή θάλασσα, σε όλες τις απίθανες αποχρώσεις του μπλε και μια παραλία για τον καθένα: Πολυσύχναστες ή ήσυχες, με άμμο, με βότσαλο ή με βράχια για βουτιές, μεγάλες ή μικρές, με ρηχά ή βαθειά νερά. Οι περισσότερες παραλίες είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμες αλλά υπάρχουν και μερικές ονειρικές στα βόρεια του νησιού και στην Πολύαιγο, για τις οποίες χρειάζεται πλωτό μέσον.

the House in the Castle

Our house is part of the 16th cent. Castle of Kimolos and was renewed with respect for tradition. It is a bioclimatic building, with 1m thick stone walls and 4m high ceilings, double roof insulation and small openings that let the air circulate. Fully equipped kitchen, fast internet and a work place (desk, office chair, 27" monitor) for those who cannot leave their work. The house is in the middle of the village, just 1 km away from the port and 3 km away from the clean sandy beaches.

Just 7 minutes (5.4km) from the island's main port (Adamantas), 5 minutes (3.4km) away from the island's airport, and a few minutes away from the island's famous beaches.

The house is located in a quiet location with a breathtaking view and, at the same time, 10 minutes walk away from taverns, shops, supermarkets, banks etc. Moving around: In a 5 minutes walking distance there is a bus stop. By car, it is a 6 minutes drive to Sarakiniko (the moon beach), 7 minutes drive to the port and 15 to the airport. We're also very close to Plaka village (the capital of Milos) and Mandrakia fishing village.

Klima is a traditional fishing village with colourful houses extending all the way to the small coast. It is located below the village of Trypiti and the Catacombs. The "Sirma" -a used to be winter hideout for fishing boats- was recently revamped.

A house overlooking the sea and and the island of Kimolos. It is located in the village of Pollonia and it's a good choice for those looking for sea view and easy access to facilities. It can accommodate up to 4 people because it has a sofa-bed.
