The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

Mountain View Guest House

Our Guest home is nestled in the foothills of Mount Wellington and is only minutes to the CBD by bus . The free standing house is one bedroom with a queen bed and has a double sofa inner spring bed in the living room, a spare single mattress bed is also available for extra people. Although the house can accommodate 5 people, the house is quite small and is not really suitable for 5 adults if you need lots of space, Families with kids will manage OK just don't expect heaps of extra space.

The space is a separate dwelling looking onto a beautiful garden. It is set in a peaceful neighbourhood and is a short walk to local parks, cafes, and restaurants. Jan's studio lies at the foot of kunanyi/Mount Wellington, and is less than 3 km to Hobart and Salamanca, with its popular Saturday market.
