Public transport is a 2 min walk to the end of street if you do not have your own transport. Off street parking is available to you also. Kuranda, home to the Indigenous Djabugay people is tucked away within an ancient Rainforest. Jum Rum Place is located only 1.6km from the Kuranda village, North Queensland backing onto Jum Rum Creek Conservation Park where there are numerous species of birds, Striped possums, Suger Gliders, Pademelons with abundance of butterflies including the Ulysses and Cairns Bird Wing. The beautiful Jum Rum Creek Walking Track is close by which takes you into the Kuranda Village, only a 15 minute walk.

The spacious and fresh bedroom with tropical garden outlook is well insulated so cool in summer (it is also air-conditioned) and the fully tiled ensuite bathroom is functional and modern. The Orchid Room is perfect for a couples romantic getaway, solo adventurers, and business travellers.

You can walk to Lake Placid or Skyrail and only a short drive to Kuranda Rail at Freshwater. You can drive to Kuranda or Cairns City in twenty minutes.
