To protect our environment we are a no smoking, no pets property (Accredited Service Animals excepted). We live in the rainforest, surrounded by trees. It is a humid environment, frequently over 80% humidty outside and that creeps inside. While we manage that as well as we can, you may feel it at times. We understand that you may find the humidity unacceptable so offer free cancellation for you.

Jum Rum Place is located only 1.6km from the Kuranda village, North Queensland backing onto Jum Rum Creek Conservation Park where there are numerous species of birds, Striped possums, Suger Gliders, Pademelons with abundance of butterflies including the Ulysses and Cairns Bird Wing. The beautiful Jum Rum Creek Walking Track is close by which takes you into the Kuranda Village, only a 15 minute walk.
